BDA Education/Workforce Vision and strategy
The dietetic workforce is always changing. Dietitians are in demand to work across a growing number of areas including health and social care, public health, industry, sports nutrition, research. Learn about the current challenges and opportunities in the dietetic landscape. And, discover how the BDA strategic vision sets out to face them by developing a competent and motivated workforce to succeed in the current and future dietetic landscape.
Launch of the new BDA Curriculum Framework [subject to completion] & Preceptorship
This presentation provides an update on the new BDA Curriculum Framework 2020 for the pre-registration Education and Training of Dietitians. This significant document describes the key knowledge, skills and behaviours required by entry-level dietitians to be eligible for registration. Preceptorship programmes to ensure newly qualified dietitians are supported in practice remain a focus at both a national and local level.
