Your Member Benefit for Digital Practice

The BDA has partnered with ORCHA (the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Applications) to provide BDA members with a digital app library site. Members will be able to use this trusted library of health and care apps, as an additional digital resource within their daily practice, to search, download and recommend apps to patients/clients.

The apps you will find here have undergone independent and impartial reviews, and you’ll see that the information presented about each app and the review process is clearly displayed throughout. You can feel confident to work through the information and choose the best apps with your clients.

Your new BDA App library account

As a BDA member you are free to browse the library with no account. But an optional paid-for pro-Account gives practitioners the ability to recommend ('prescribe') apps directly to their patients/clients.

Member Feedback so far....

  • “Being able to access it as a BDA member will be fantastic. I’ll be getting my team onto it asap!”
  • “Such a useful tool, I look forward to using it”
  • “Really good idea”

Influence our App Library

You can influence the future content of the library, as one BDA Associate member did after we launched. They successfully requested 12 kidney apps which they have considered using in practice be put through the ORCHA review. Once the reviews are completed we will update members on how they were scored and which ones are being added to the library. Which apps do you use (or consider using) in your practice?  Why not get in touch with ORCHA and suggest your apps are reviewed, simply email [email protected] with any similar suggestions or questions.
