Welcome to the BDA Trade Union Web Pages

Representing and supporting you throughout your working life.

About the Union

The BDA is both your Professional Body and your Trade Union which means we have a dedicated team of Union experts on hand to assist you across a range of areas and ultimately exists to represent and support you throughout your working life.

We hope you never have to, but in case you do one day have to face a problem at work related to restructuring or redundancy, disciplinary, sickness, grievance, workload or discrimination, our team will be on hand to provide free advice and support you through any follow up which may include representation and attendance at legal hearings.

Local Representation

Your Trade Union is supported by a volunteer network of local BDA Trade Union representatives (https://www.bda.uk.com/union/representatives/home),  trained by the Union team to give their time to support their colleagues in the workplace.

In most cases they will be your first point of contact if you have an issue.
