5-step road map to practice for First Contact Dietitians

Health Education England (HEE) with support from the BDA have produced a Roadmap to Practice for first contact dietitians (FCDs). This follows on from dietitians (along with other AHP colleagues) being added to the GP contract in 2020.

The new Practice Toolkit has been developed to help tube fed individuals and their families to receive effective, equitable and quality care. Dietitians who are new to blended diet will be able to use this Practice Toolkit as a starting reference.
