Resources
You may be aware that the PHS Diet, Physical Activity and Healthy Weight team have been developing a Challenging Weight Stigma Learning Hub, we are delighted to inform you that this learning resource is launching today, and is now available. We have issued a news story on the Public Health Scotland website and will publish a blog in the coming days.
If you think appropriate we would like to ask for your support to promote the learning hub to raise awareness and encourage use of it, both internally and externally across the networks and groups you sit on. The more we can do to raise awareness of this resource and encourage people to use it, the more likely it will be impactful in challenging the stigma and discrimination that people of higher weight are subjected to.
To help you raise awareness of the learning hub I have included our key comms messages and an animation and image which may be helpful. You can use these across various channels such as social media, newsletters etc. to raise awareness amongst your colleagues, stakeholders, audiences etc.
