Tracy Russell
Tracy is a Specialist Dietitian working with patients at the Regional Infectious Diseases Unit, Western General Hospital, Edinburgh. She has specialised in HIV care for almost 26 years. She has a particular interest in substance abuse and HIV.
Tracy Lives in the Scottish Borders and enjoys a slow paced country life when out of work!

Alastair Duncan RD BSc PgDipDiet MSc PhD
Al is a Clinical Academic Dietitian working with patients at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital, and researching and teaching at King’s College London. He has specialised in HIV care for almost 25 years. He was awarded an NIHR Research Fellowship to investigate prevention of diabetes in HIV. He also leads an action learning project testing interventions for people living with obesity in South East London, recruiting over 1,000 patients annually.
Al volunteers with The Food Chain. He loves to grow, cook and eat organic fruit and vegetables from his smallholding in Kent, which goes some way to counteract his excessive intake of macaroni cheese.

Maria Halley
Maria Halley is a HIV dietitian at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She has a diverse clinical background, having supported people with a range of nutritional problems, from malnutrition and gastrointestinal disorders, to obesity and diabetes. She is currently secretary of Dietitians in HIV Care and also continues to work privately in digital healthcare and cancer. Maria has a strong belief that what and how we eat can have a profound impact on our health and mood and her interests lie in behaviour change and motivational interviewing.
