Sophie Medlin is a specialist consultant colorectal dietitian and director of CityDietitians. Sophie worked in the NHS and as a lecturer at Kings College before she started her business. Sophie is passionate about sharing evidenced based nutrition with individual companies and the media

Jasmine Carbon

Jasmine Carbon is a Senior Specialist dietitian and team lead working withing Guys and St Thomas' Adult Integrated Care Services. She provides nutritional support to domicilliary patients and first line dietetic support in GP clinics. Carbon Nutrition and Dietetics is her nutritional consultancy where she provides talks, workshops and 1-2-1 consultations on health optimisation through diet. Jasmine is excited to be appointed Vice Chair of the London BDA Branch and will endeavour to celebrate great diversity of its members as well as their clinical specialisms

Isobel Bandurek

Izzy Bandurek works at World Cancer Research Fund, developing the evidence base for diet, nutrition, physical activity and cancer prevention and survival. She is also a big fan of all things Middle Earth.

Selina Lotay

Selina is a young, enthusiastic and committed community dietitian who is a graduate of Coventry University. Selina enjoys working with children and has a healthy passion for travelling. She is on course to have visited 30 countries before she is 30!


Social Media Officer

Abbey Stanford

Abbey works as a Specialist Health Editor for Bupa and is the Social Media Officer for BDA London. In her spare time, Abbey is also a volunteer at The Food Chain, a charity that supports people living with HIV. She is committed to seeing the Rolling Stones perform as many times as is humanly possible

Amy Williams

Amy is an acute dietitian working at Barts Health NHS Trust. She has an interest in all medical fields however gastroenterology is something that she is very keen to explore. During the COVID pandemic, she was redeployed to rehabilation and worked extremely closely with patients who had stepped down from ITU to ensure their recovery was optimised by nutrition. She enjoys running and has taken part in many charity runs.

Maja Lowinska

 Maja worked as a dietitian for 8 years in Poland, where she still holds a private clinic virtually. After moving to England 2 years ago, she is now working to obtain a licence to practice and pursue a professional career as an acute dietitian. She has experience amongst others at the Centre of Oncology- Maria Sklodowska Curie Institute in Warsaw. She specialises in the nutritional treatment of cancer patients. She is very passionate about clinical nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Toby Trundle

Toby is an acute dietitian who works at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex and has been a member of the London branch committee for 3 years. He helps organise webinars and other tech based activities for all our events. 


Student Representative - London Met 

Louise Taylor

Louise is our BDA student dietitian rep for London Met University. She also works part time as a health and wellbeing coach supporting groups and individuals who have pre-diabetes. She also volunteers at schools in Waterloo, offering support to children and families who want to make healthy lifestyle changes. She loves meeting new people and chatting to them like she's known them forever!

Aliki is a second year Nutrition and Dietetics student at Kings College London. She is a Greek Cypriot studying in London and a passionate millennial about fitness and clinical nutrition. She is the student representative for Kings College BDA London Branch and is excited to introduce the British Dietetic Association to all new/fellow students studying at Kings College.
