We are a friendly and supportive committee made up of UK Dietitians working in the NHS, private practice, industry and research. Being part of the committee provides an opportunity to work collectively with Dietitians on national projects and consult on topical issues related to paediatric nutrition, key documents and statements.
Sue Meredith - Paediatric Group Chair
Sue is a dietitian of 24 years’ experience, currently working as Clinical Lead for Paediatric Dietetics and Enteral Feeding at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Sue manages community paediatric and adult services which includes multidisciplinary teams of dietitians, nutrition nurses and assistant practitioners. She retains a strong interest in student dietitian training, having previously developed community and paediatric placements with other local providers. Sue is looking forward to an exciting time as Chair of the BDA Paediatric Specialist group, working to develop paediatric dietetics alongside a busy, welcoming and supportive committee.
